Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a sponsored place in the Global Growth Program, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to the satisfaction of Tribe Global Ventures: - Queensland Headquarters: The business must be Queensland-Based, meaning it is headquartered in Queensland and has a clear intention to expand operations in the state at the time of entry. - Target Stage and Sector: The venture must be a B2B or B2B2C tech-enabled startup (software or hardware-light) looking to raise a Post-Seed to Series A round in the next 3 to 24 months. - Market Expansion Intent: The venture must be able to demonstrate relevance to US or UK markets and have a clear intent for international expansion. - Traction: Eligible businesses are typically generating growing revenues of between $200K and $3M ARR, though this may vary significantly based on business model, price-book, ACV and market dynamics. - A.B.N. Requirement: The business must have an active Australian Business Number (ABN). - Financial Co-contribution: While the program includes a 6 month program of workshops plus a 7 day mission in the US or UK (including twin-share accommodation), participants must have the financial capacity to fund their own international airfares, airport transfers, travel insurance, and other incidentals. - Travel Eligibility: Applicants must be eligible for international travel to the US or UK, including qualifying for necessary visas and holding a valid passport. - Full Program Commitment: Founders must commit to participating in all three phases: Phase 1 (Pre-Mission), Phase 2 (In-market Mission), and Phase 3 (Post-Mission). - Age and Fitness: The individual applicant must be over the age of 18 by the date of departure and be sufficiently fit and healthy to complete an intensive 7-day international mission during the program. - Data and Reporting: Participants must agree to provide company data, metrics, and updates for at least 12 months following the program to satisfy VCDF reporting requirements (including total employment, Queensland skilled employment, and capital raised).
